I hope I racked up some serious brownie points with the elementary principal. You know, in favor of Operation:Get a Job Nearby. The nice man gave me a book on classroom management and a really nice lesson plan book, so I wrote him a thank you note. He thought that was the nicest gesture and came in to tell me so. And when he did that, the substitute that we had in class today (which I shall have you know essentially did nothing but learn how to be a sub-it was her first day as a sub) let him know that I would make a wonderful teacher someday.
Now, lets only hope it's someday soon.
And in case anyone was worried about my crafting ability, you were for good reason. I pulled out stocking #1 (read: the one that looked easier) and couldn't get past the first step. I wish I were joking. I am, however, happy to announce that I have now accomplished it (and am quite far, now being at the second step).
I changed the decor around and am still looking for a home for some beautiful picture frames. I have a bit of a picture problem...slight obession, we'll say. Ruby loves to look at these stars-I like the way they look, too.
I'm freaking out a little that my baby is only five days away from being three whole months old.
