Update on the Roo Bug.

So the Princess herself did allow me to get a few things done yesterday morning. I still have two more days of the weekend, so I'm hoping to get a lot done then as well.

Ruby has started making this high-pitched noise. We refer to this as her princess squeal. It's pathetic, adorable and pitiful all wrapped up in one. I'm not sure where she got it from, but she seems to do it when she wants someone to look at her or she just wants to hear noise. She has also started fake coughing which is hysterical. She thinks it's quite funny when someone else coughed, so I don't know if that's where she picked it up.

Last night in bed, she was just jabbering away-she has a complete conversation going on with the facial expressions and all. I don't know if she's capable of mimicking the things she sees and hears, but it sure seems like it. The teacher in me loves to watch those little wheels turn, and sometimes it's so obvious that she's just trying to figure things out.

She is deliberately reaching for toys and petting her stuffed animals now. It's so fun to see her grow by the day. And I cry a little bit every time I realize that with her growing so quickly, she's definitely not going to stay my itsy snuggler for long.

The other night, she pulled out her pacifer and then was able to put it back in her mouth. She just couldn't figure out that she needed to let go for it to stay in her mouth.
