I hardly remember life without Ruby. 

I must have cooked a lot of dinners without a leech on my leg.  I must have scrapbooked more than 3 pages in an hour.  I must have slept a lot better.

But.

I must have been a lot less fulfilled.  My days are full of smiles, giggles, animal sounds, books, and puzzles.  Not to mention, the never-ending game of "go fetch my snack" and the dirty diapers.  And I can even appreciate those things.  What a journey that last 15 months have been.  An explicable experience.  An adventure of a million kisses, hundreds of goodnight sweet girls and I love yous.  My days are filled with an unbelievable amount of joy, wonder, and thankfulness as I have the pleasure of knowing such an amazing little person.

May we be blessed with many many more seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, and years.
