I slathered Ruby up with sunscreen this afternoon and we had homemade macaroni and fig newtons for lunch outside. She spent a long time in her pool and would randomly say things like, "It's like my bath!" It'll be a sad day when she isn't so pleased by the little things in life.
I have the busiest immobile baby in the world. She must be moving at all times, which means I must be moving at all times. Which makes me wonder...why haven't I lost all of this baby weight? Cookie weight, brownie weight, soda weight. Same difference.
& homemade popsicles for dessert.
We have made bird feeders this week, I ordered a butterfly kit to raise butterflies here at home, and we have spent the last two days outside playing in the pool and riding her bicycle.
I love summer.
Love these sweet tootsies.
Also? This kid cracks me up - she is at such a fun stage, but I can't get over how quickly she is growing up. I know she'll be mouthing her opinions in words we understand before I know it. Just like Ruby.
Note how she stops everything she's doing to find Ruby when she hears her. This melts my heart.
