[not quite] wordless wednesday

After a day that I do not care to repeat anytime in the near future, the last thing I wanted to do was fulfill my promise to Ruby that we would go to the park.

Then I thought of the unfairness of that.  She didn't make me forget my wallet after driving an hour before realizing it, she didn't make me kill that bird, she wasn't the source of so many other frustrations.  And I knew that taking her to the park would put things into perspective; life through the eyes of a two year old is one we should all live.

There was an angel at the park, and it took every ounce of me not to inquire about her age or babysitting capabilities.  She was so good with Ruby and Ruby loved her.  Best of all, she introduced Ruby to one of the best things of fall.
