every morning, I wake up and look at this sweet, sleeping face. How is this real life?
The state of my house is actually really unbelievable. The last time I moved was my move home from college. At the end of finals week, packing had a hard time even making the to do list. There was a lot of tossing stuff into the trailer and calling it good. This time, I'm going to be Goodwill's most valuable contributor. In the meantime, the clock ticks loudly in my ear, my house looks like the remains of some horrific disaster.
Ruby and I spent a day out in honor of her birthday. She got her first haircut (more than millimeters, and at a salon), and we shopped and ate out. We went to see a movie and ate overly buttered popcorn. Me? Shopping without Eisley is like a day in paradise.
My grateful list has gone AWOL on here, mostly because my time is non-existant, and by the time 2:00AM rolls around, I can hardly think about brushing my teeth, let alone blogging.
Simple life in 4 weeks. And by simple, I mean crazy. Christmas and moving at the same time? I'll take it.
thankfuls:
coffee, silly words games, tiny, warm sleeping bodies, guidance, the way Eisley picks up my finger to stroke her cheek if I haven't done it already as she drifts off to dreamland.
